3.

Why is Bridal make up more expensive?

Bridal make up is more expensive than occasion make up for many reasons. Firstly I dedicate my entire morning or day to you and your bridal party - you don't just pay for the product used, you're paying for the entire service that I provide. Your bridal booking includes confidence and reasurrance of a supplier you can trust, with a time schedule to suit your bridal party and ensure your wedding morning goes to plan. The techniques used are different, whilst the starts are often earlier and i'm working under more pressure. Once everyone's make up is finished I stay around to provide top ups, until the very last minute, whilst I can also help with any final touches that you or your bridal party may need.

4.

What brands do you use in your make up kit?

I use a huge variety of brands in my make up kit from high-end premium to trending highstreet products. I'm a huge advocate for skincare so prep and base are extremely important to me ensuring I have a large selection of products to suit all skin types and tones. Some of the brands I use include, Charlotte Tilbury, Mac, Nars, Bobbi Brown, NYX, P Louise and Morphe to name a few.

5.

Do you require a minimum booking?

The short answer is no. I'm happy to help any and all bridal partys, however depending on the date, location and size of the party, the price may vary or there may be additional travel charges outside of my local radius. Please get in touch with your specific enquiry so we can discuss further.

6.

Is it compulsary to have a trial?

No, it's not compulsary to have a bridal trial but it is highly reccommended. I offer prices and packages with or without a trial appointment, however a trial can be extremly beneficial. Throughout a trial appointment we can discuss your exact requirements, your skin type and any concerns which can really help put your mind at ease before your special day. Throughout and following your appointment i'll make notes and keep a record of everything we discussed and used.

7.

When do you reccommend to have a trial?

I reccommend booking a trial at a time that's most convenient for you but ideally no sooner than 6 months before your big day and no later than 4 weeks prior. If you can, tie your appointment in with an occasion so you can keep your make up on for the entire day and really see how the make up settles on your skin. This way you can provide the best feedback.

8.

Do you travel outside of locations listed on your website?

Of course I do! I'm happy to help brides all over, but travel charges will apply. I charge 45p per mile outside of my local radius. Please get in touch to discuss the details of your wedding.

9.

How do I know if you're the right Make up Artist for me?

I advise that you look through my portfolio and get a feel for my style. You can also follow me on social media, and read my reviews and recommendations.

10.

I have a large bridal party, how many people can you accommodate?

This all depends on the time of your ceremony and what time you need to be ready for, but ultimately, i'm used to the early starts and i'll try my best to accommodate you and your entire bridal party. I can comfortably do 8 people in one morning but to discuss your specific needs it's best if we have an informal chat and consultation.

11.

How long will make up take?

On average I say it takes around 45 minutes per person, but this may vary depending on the look. For the bride I do like to allocate an hour, whilst flower girls may take slightly less time due to the small amount of make up required.

12.

Do you ever work with other Make up Artists?

Absolutely, I love working alongside other professionals. I understand that not everyone wants a super early start on their wedding day, so sometimes it's easier to share the load across two make up artists.

13.

What happens on my wedding morning?

On your wedding day, I come prepared with your bespoke time schedule for your bridal party. On arrival I set up my kit and workspace, ensuring there's enough light and room for me to work. I work alongside the hair stylist to ensure our schedules don't clash and we manage the entire bridal party efficiently.
